Automatic by default

Send model: "yugo" and let Yugos select a suitable model.

The first staging release has one eligible model: Gemini 3.8 Flash (gemini-3.8-flash). Every eligible automatic request routes through Yugos to this model.

Exclude specific models

Use model IDs from GET /v1/models. Exclusions apply to every generation, routing, and checking call within the request.

With the Python SDK, pass the routing field through extra_body. If no suitable model remains, the request fails before dispatch.

Excluding gemini-3.8-flash leaves no available model and stops the request before any model call or charge.

Choose an exact model

Set model to an available model ID. Exact-model calls preserve that model choice. A conflicting exclusion fails the request.

Discover capabilities

GET /v1/models provides available IDs. GET /v1/catalog adds context/output limits, supported protocols, and tool support. Both require a project API key.
